Diagnostic Scan (EFI / ABS)

Modern Harley-Davidson motorcycles store Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) across multiple electronic modules — the ECM (engine), ABS modulator, TSSM (security), and instrument cluster. Reading these codes accurately requires a professional scan tool that communicates with Harley's proprietary CAN bus implementation. Generic OBD-II readers only access engine codes, missing the ABS, security, and cluster faults that are often the actual cause of symptoms.
