A battery load test is the only accurate way to assess whether your Harley's battery is truly healthy. A multimeter resting voltage check — while useful — can't reveal a battery that reads 12.6V at rest but collapses to 8V under cranking load. That's a dead battery in practical terms, and it will leave you stranded on a cold Nova Scotia morning. Our carbon-pile load test tells the truth about battery condition in 30 seconds.

What's Included

  • Resting voltage measurement
  • Carbon-pile load test at the battery's rated CCA
  • Voltage under load recorded — healthy battery holds above 9.6V
  • Battery condition report: Good / Marginal / Replace
  • Charging system output check if battery is suspect

When to Test

Any time you're unsure of your battery — especially at spring startup after winter storage without a maintainer, before a long trip, or after experiencing a slow-start or no-start. If your battery is over 4 years old, test it annually. Most batteries give a warning through slow cranking before they fail completely — catch it before it strands you.

Walk-ins are always welcome for battery testing. No appointment necessary.
