Exhaust System Install

Exhaust installation on a Harley-Davidson is more than bolting on new pipes. The correct torque sequence, proper header flange seating, and heat shield positioning are all critical for leak-free, rattle-free operation. And on any EFI or carbureted bike, the fueling must be adjusted to match the new exhaust flow — exhaust without tuning is incomplete and potentially harmful.

What's Included

• Stock exhaust removal — flanges and mounting points inspected
• Exhaust flange condition verified — resurfaced if required for proper sealing
• New exhaust installed per manufacturer torque sequence
• Header flange bolts torqued correctly — cross-pattern, cold torque then re-check after heat cycle
• Heat shields and mounting brackets properly positioned
• Tuning consultation: what's required for your new exhaust

Slip-On vs. Full System

Slip-ons: Mufflers only, leave OEM headers. Best sound improvement for the cost. Minimal power gain (the headers are where gains come from). Tuning requirement is minimal but still recommended.

Full systems: Headers and mufflers. Where real power gains happen. Always require proper fueling adjustment — running a full system with stock fuel mapping risks lean damage. We won't install a full system without confirming a tune plan is in place.
