Whether it's a dented steel tank, a cracked ABS fairing from a low-speed tip-over, or aging fiberglass bodywork on a custom build, bodywork repair restores structural integrity and a smooth surface — the essential foundation for any paint job, and often worth doing on its own even if you're not repainting right away.

What's Included

  • Metal dent repair — hammer and dolly work, or filler for dents that can't be pulled back to true
  • Plastic fairing crack repair — plastic welding for ABS and polypropylene fairings
  • Fiberglass repair for custom tanks, fenders, and vintage bodywork
  • Tank seam and mounting tab repair
  • Surface blocking and shaping to prep for paint
  • Structural assessment — we'll tell you honestly if a part is better replaced than repaired

Repair vs. Replace

A cracked fairing with clean break lines is usually a strong candidate for plastic welding — it's a fraction of the cost of a new OEM panel and, done properly, is just as durable. A shattered or heavily UV-degraded fairing, on the other hand, often isn't worth the labor to save. We assess and give you the honest comparison before committing to either path.

Common Repairs We See

  • Cracked fairings from low-speed drops or tip-overs in a driveway or parking lot
  • Dented tanks from tie-down straps or trailer transport
  • Cracked or faded fiberglass on custom and vintage bodywork
  • Rust repair on steel fenders and tanks before repaint
